In Central America, A Cup of Cold Water Missions has a presence in Honduras and El Salvador.
Honduras
ACOCW Ministries, Inc. is a legally registered non-profit organization in Honduras. Our representative, Pastor Marco Contreras and his wife Elida, began a church in the area of El Banano under a mango tree in 2003. We helped to complete a church building there in 2012. We have seen the church grow from 50 to more than 750 members! We feed, equip, build homes for the homeless, and support the ministry there, and now have the first school in the area on our church property, clinic for children, daily feeding program for children, Tilapia Fish Farm, and chicken and egg business, by the grace of God and the provision He supplies through people like you, since 2005.
El Salvador
In 2013, our first church was completed in El Salvador. Pastor Marta Aguilar leads a food program for children every Sunday! In 2021, a second church was planted in San Salvador in 2021, led by Pastor Airilio. At present, we are renting a space for this church, but our vision is to buy property and build a facility for this congregation.
ACOCW also supports a drug rehabilitation center for men in San Salvador where men are being set free from addiction.
